New Year, more things to do

It goes on and I am glad to be here again for a next year. To be honest, I celebrate my New year when Ash Wednesday comes around. I think all Trinbagonians should really.
Anyways, the past few months were a lot of work but a lot of fun and I am a bit energized to do new things and make new connections. I am currently working on a couple projects with detnator again which include compiling sketches for a sketchbook project as well as decorating their walls at the studio with a few friends ( Tracey Chan, Warren Leplatte and Dominic). Finally managed to get another version of WE DOES DRAW out will see about doing a next one before carnival at least.
In the mean time preparing for school next week, maybe I might remember my french this time!

Day 280, We does draw

On Saturday had a good time with some of the illustrators who I continue to meet on Facebook. At first I was worried that no one was going to show up when I sat in the Mall’s food court alone at 12, but I got out my book and started drawing, one by one people started pouring in and before you know it we are all talking and having fun sketching.
We even had our own emo blasting session. We changed from the challenge of the day ( the seven sins) to doing our own emo people and how generic it can be. I think it was Claire who vividly painted a scene where the mall becomes dark as a thick cloud of them descend onto the food court. We image there might be a territorial battle in the future, them vs us!
Next meetup is scheduled for some time in August.

Quite an active weekend planned. I expect to get things going for Erotic Art Week. More planning for the DnD project and also some more meetings for my upcoming show in September. Tomorrow I will be attending an event called We Does Draw. I will post more about it in the morning As I get ready for it. Saying good by to past dissapointments and getting into the new. Thanks for the memories first half of 2010!
