Yesterday I went to Detnator Studios to do some long ignored work on our collaboration project DnD ( do not disturb). It turned out a lot better than I thought.

Not only did I do some work on the studio walls, I ended up back behind the microphone to do some vocals for some new music the studio was working on. You will hear more of that as the music gets done etc. in the meanwhile here is a look at the mural, some good things are expected to happen next year!

This is a collaborative effort by myself and the production team Detnator. We have just about 18 songs and it will feature some video of my art and their music. I am kinda jazzed about this project and we expect to take it up to some kind of exhibition when it is complete. Meanwhile please enjoy the wallpaper I made based off the art from the first song.

The room isn’t lit by traditional ceiling lighting. The many computer screens provide enough for the gamers to see their keyboards, and if possible, move from their chairs. Preteens, teenagers and Young Adults each there because of some need to escape whether they are beating the after work traffic, or their parents have them dumped there to kill some time before they can pick up their young ones.

Kinda cool hanging around with old friends whom you just havent had the time in ages to see or chill out with. Went to the movies to watch Babylon A.D with some friends of mine. Babylon A.D is tragic in that it starts off really good, typical Vin Diesel, guy with a complicated history and a heart, but is still a bad ass. It just kinda goes downhill after that. The second half sucked.

Colour and Design class tomorrow yipeee!

The time is decadent. People were more lax about politics and the emphasis from day to day is more about who you know and how you look. Rhonda sat reading the newspapers, fidgeting. She would fix her glasses, tug at her clothes and keep the newspaper leaves inline as she turned the pages.

The name glowed brightly in colourful neon outside the building. The black light caressed the carnage of children dancing, body to body, blood to blood, obeying the commands of the music. There, dreams were traded for a night of desire. It is the heart of Soucouyant’s empire-the opposite of Adrenaline City, and-unbeknownst to most—the portal to the depths of hell. The Club was rocking. Adrian was making his rounds keeping everything together. He was the one that Madame had entrusted with most of this work. For some reason she had found favour in him, and he had found favour in this life. This was a far cry from his Maloney beginnings. He was heir to an empire. At times Adrian wondered if he could wrestle all this from powerful jumbies like Madame and Mr Gahoor- A Ligahoo that had redefined himself as a powerful businessman. Gahoor hated Adrian and he always tried to get rid of him. Adrian was glad that Soucouyant had liked him or he swore that he may have been faced with the option of hitting the streets again-or even far worse, knowing Gahoor’s ‘bad mind’.

It exists just north and east of Trinidad. It can be seen as a bright star when the north-east trade winds blow the clouds away and reveal a passage of light. This is the destiny of all that belong to the nation that it overlooks. Adrenaline City.

It is a spiritual place. It is here that the ambient spirit of Carnival finds a home. The limitations of the flesh are cast aside and all enter this place with a new life and everlasting solace.

Pan stormed through the hallways. Costumes of traditional Carnival characters looked down on him. Bois was after him.

“Why you doing this now?”

” You know he going and get them now.” Pan cast back angrily over his shoulder. He swung his massive mallet forward and the gates to Trinidad opened. Rapso was right behind him. Bois shouted to Pan.

Other than the obvious fact that it is darker than the day, there is always a different quality to the night. Its energy… it is mysterious and powerful. On this particular night, a different power is out–woman power.

The scene is a trendy local nightclub, the place packed with a who’s who of the nation’s misguided youth -the hip, the socialites, the rich and the soon-to-be famous. It is Friday, and the end of the week lends an extra bit of festiveness to the atmosphere, intoxicating the spirits of the partygoers.

Adding a special touch to the evening are three young ladies. Sexy, mysterious and deliciously tempting they strut into the club like they own the place. They are obviously not regulars, and their presence causes a stir among the males. As if drawn to a magnet, heads swing in their direction as they saunter across to a dimly lit corner of the packed dance floor.
