Messed around with some paint and then wondered what to do with it, so I drew the eye and placed it the centre. It has a creepy kind of vibe, but I like it.
Yeah I went to Trinity. Lots of good times there. We have an unofficial, official lime every boxing day and yesterday was the first time I went. Was really cool to see a bunch of old faces and friends and laugh over old times. I hope to do it again next year, and hope it is even more fun than this one.
Oh yeah this was my uniform!
So after visitng home I thought I would do some impressionistic images of the women in my life, mainly my family. I have a lot of sisters and my mother pretty much raised us on her own. They are all very caring and loving and it is always good to be a part of that and to be able to benefit from it. Even though I sometimes forget that it is available.
So I did this piece for my mother, it is not a planned piece I just wanted to do something gestural in feel to see what my gut reaction would be when I initially thought of her. I guess from the image you can come up with some of your own thoughts on what is depicted.
I hope everyone that enjoys Christmas is having a good time. I will be spending some time with the family and then later some friends. Most people take this opportunity to enjoy a whole lotta food, I cannot say I will not be doing the same. LOL
N joy!
I know right now it have people fed up see Christmas decorations etc. I just kinda wanted to do something simple that reminds me of the time. I am not a big fan of Christmas per se but I am a big fan of family, friends and the general good in us all.
Just some sketches I did of my hand. I tend to revert to a very modular graphic style when figuring out things as I draw, I like it but its not suitable for every situation where something more fluid will tell a better story.
I suppose tomorrow I will do something chrismassy, perhaps. Possibly. …
This was an initial sketch for the dougla series. The mix of styles and a look for someone living in a post apocalyptic, tribal world.
Kind of a darkish look at something the should be fun and bright. Maybe the stormy weather is getting to me at the moment.
